The first thing I did was to prune the pictures. After pruning the content of culture, history, ethnicity, traditions, beliefs, cuisine, lifestyle, and even the architecture that symbolizes it, I found 27 photos. I came up with short sentences from A to Z to go with them, so that I could introduce them. The photos and sentences were then printed out on business-card sized paper and laminated to make them playable as a game.
These tasks took a week, but it wasn't hard for me to do as I was stopped at home by Corona. Later, I was able to create a website to introduce them and add further explanations to it. The Karuta completed in this way can be used in a variety of situations.
Initiative and planning
I was able to identify what I had and what I needed, make a plan, and then give shape to my ideas. I haven't been able to use this game as much now that the coronavirus still prevents direct contact, but I'm sure I'll be able to use it in the future.
Global engagement
I researched the culture and history of Myanmar and was able to explain each of them well by relating them to pictures of places and things I have traveled. This process also deepened my own understanding of Myanmar.
